30 days is such a long time to wait when you've been going non-stop for so long! we keep hearing from the pros that the first week and the last week are the busiest, but I keep reaching out to podcasts and reviewers to see if we can get more eyes on the project! We'll have to come up with some fun stuff to keep us all entertained in the meantime. Perhaps I can start a painting stream where I paint minis and everyone is disappointing in how mediocre I am! Or maybe you'll be very encouraged at how much better you are! I just got an airbrush, so maybe I could record myself trying that out for the first time... Let me know what you want to see on our youtube channel, and we'll try to make it happen!
Real jobs are getting in the way of getting the rules out, but I hope to have better news tonight. Unfortunately, I cannot motivate our volunteers more than their real money jobs and families can, so we are at their mercy. Thank you for your patience once more. It is getting a final review, so we don't make any rookie mistakes, and you'll have it as soon as I can get it to you. (I will release it tomorrow, whether it is done or not. I also can be impatient, lol!)

Folks, you've done it again! Another stretch goal unlocked!
As of the time of writing this, we have unlocked two more levels, both for companion animals. These companions are called griffs. they are not the arch gryphons that are more forces of nature, no. These are imperfect experiments from an ancient time that have none of the nobility or power of their mighty namesake. Griffs are kept as pets in the Undercity, and they help keep neighborhoods clear of vermin and act as companions for gangers and children alike. As variable in nature as appearance, they can be hard to train, but are effective and intelligent allies when treated well.

You may have noticed the updated Gang Banners that highlight the lawjacks, the Shadow Caste, and the Bulls of Heaven. Thank you for your patience as we try to get as much info out in as pleasing a fashion as possible, despite not always having the most polish we'd like. things are moving and shaking behind the scenes and as soon as we get updated versions of things, we'll update the story. But in the meantime, you can hopefully get a better sense of the newer gangs from their banners. We're working on the others as well, so stay tuned!
On a small note, you may have seen the add-on graphic for the Vehicle models. We have plans to add vehicles into the game, but they are beyond the scope of this kickstarter. The vehicles shown are a collaboration with Kore Aeronautics where we are offering these vehicle files for download so you can print them and use them to add flavor and terrain to your game. These are NOT physical models, and we will not have the ability right now to sell them as such, but if you have a 3D printer, and want some rad extras, these are for you.
We are putting the last touches on our basic rules so we can get them to you as soon as possible. I'd expect later today, but please don't hold me to that, as some things are just out of my hands when many of us are still volunteers. hey folks, things are going well! Another $1,000 rolled in since yesterday, which is great! We keep this up, and we are going to be in starlight territory when we hit the final week.
Because you demanded it, we've included descriptions of three more gangs just after the descriptions of the Valkyrs and the Flaming Skulls. This gives you a taste of what you can expect from the newly unlocked factions as well as their flavor and what miniatures/characters will fit in their gang. These will get some fancy graphics soon...
Also by popular demand, we've added a Retailer tier to the campaign. Please make sure you read the Tier and the Retailer section in the Risks and Challenges section before pledging at this level. It is for those who can prove they run a brick-and-mortar gaming store only.
In case you didn't see, we've added a section on Gang Boxes as well, which is another, more cost-effective way to get the stretch goal minis after the main campaign ends. This was also by popular request!
Lastly, we should have a basic rules document up by Monday or Tuesday... you guessed it... because of popular demand. Say what you like about us, we listen to the fans!!!
And hey, here's a deal for ya... if you have a local game shop, and you get them to pledge, and if they tell me YOU sent them, we'll give you a free mini of your choice after the campaign ends. Are we not magnanimous? Are we not gracious?! The unicorn abides.

Hello again!
I have a special thank you to give you all because we have hit a milestone that is very near to my heart.
As of my writing this, we sit at $50,620 pledged, 421% funded, 510 backers, and an incredible 28 days to go. While 421% funded blows us away on its own, but $50,000 was the barrier we needed to overcome in order to get all our debts paid off from making Gangs of the Undercity! Which is such an incredible feeling to have for our team. But the great news for you, our backers, is that from here on out, all of the extra funds that were going towards recouping sunk costs are now going towards other things, namely: continuing to lower our production costs, re-investing in Fragging unicorns infrastructure and design, and allowing the volunteers on our team to start making money from our dreams. The sailing has just become very smooth indeed! And the thanks belong to you.
We have been asked about adding a Retailer Tier, and we are discussing that internally, so if you are a retailer, or know a Friendly Local Game Store that may be interested, drop us a message so we can work out what sort of arrangement makes the most sense and craft something that works best for everyone.
We have heard you all loud and clear that the content of these updates, where relevant to the game and the campaign, should be added to the main campaign page. We agree! We'll be updating the page quite a bit in the coming days, so again, thank you for looking out and helping us get better at this!
The first major updates to the campaign page have already happened. We've added Gang Boxes to the Add-on section, and that will be getting graphics highlights as well soon. Gang boxes were something we always planned on doing, but assumed we'd so so after the KS was over. But your response in wanting them has changed our tune! So we are now offering Gang Boxes as add-ons just like single figure add-ons. Gangs boxes are groups of individual models, bundled by themes (sometimes by gang, sometimes by function), and discounted to make building a gang easier on your wallet. As more models become available, and it becomes possible to fill out a gang, we will offer that bundled box as well. You can see the available boxes in the Add-on section.
In the same vein, we are going to be updating our section of Gang descriptions. We currently only have the Flaming Skulls and the Valkyrs, but we will be giving exciting descriptions of all our unlocked gangs soon, so you don't have to fly blind when deciding which gang you're going to make your own!

We belive in listening to fans first, so that is why we've tried to answer and respond and change what we're doing based on your feedback!
