Campaign Finale Livestream

Here it is, folks! The final 8 hours of the campaign! And we want to share it with you. Opti and various members of the Fragging Unicorns team will be streaming live starting now! You can (hopefully, if we can get our tech in order) watch it from the Gangs of the Undercity Campaign page, or you can visit our youtube channel to chat us up, ask questions, and participate in the conversation! We'll be talking about whatever YOU want to talk about and sharing new stuff, previews, gang creation, rules, and chatting with various team members about their contributions.

12 Hours Left!

Hey everyone! We only have 12 hours left in the campaign, and things are starting to heat back up!

Goals:

We have a few goals that are within easy reach! 

Assassin

First, the Assassin unlocks at 56K, which is only $225 away. The assassin is a human-size model, which, because it is masked, can fit in as an elf or an orc as well, as they are roughly human-sized. The assassin will come with at least three heads, one masked, one male, and one female. It will also have alternate hands/weapons. These models will fit especially well (and are designed for) the Shadow Caste gang, but could also fit in a Neverkin gang.  

Here is a preview of the assassin's sword, and hopefully, we'll be able to make the rest of them!

Weapon Sprue

The weapon sprue unlocks at 600 pledges, and we are only 12 pledges away! The weapon sprue will be a group of alternate weapons for your gangers modelled after the options we have in the book, so if you don't like the weapon a model has, just replace it with the weapon on the sprue! We are looking at at least 6 alternate weapons, 3 melee and 3 ranged. 

Live Stream

At 4:00pm CDT, we'll be live streaming until the end of the campaign. My early attempt at linking the stream to the Kickstarter page didn't work so well, but I'll be trying again, but either way, we'll be streaming on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTVQmqvE4fkLSb3aqyyrRYg

We'll be chatting, answering questions, showing off some previews, talking about process, shipping, the industry, or whatever you want to chat about, as we try to drum up the final support for our Kickstarter!

Wind-Up to the Finish

We're getting ready for our final push tonight, headed into the final 48 hours (at midnight CDT). We are going to be live streaming quite a bit on Saturday during the final 24 hours, so if you have any questions, want to chat, or just hang out with Fragging Unicorns, that is the time to do it! Also, now is the time to start making any final pushes to friends, local game stores, or social medias about the last hours of the campaign. Many of you have already been super-media-relations-officers for us already, and if we keep it up, we'll get even higher! So plan on posting a bit today, but then really post a lot tomorrow and Saturday!

Golem Preview

You lot are gonna love this! This is a preview of our Golem kit. This is the Lawjack version you'll be able to make, but there will also be a rogue version with an extra shield and less armor, to show that it has rejected the lawjacks. I hope you're as pumped as I am about it, Kieran really did well with this one!

We should have another goodie or two to preview before the campaign is done, so stay tuned and thanks for getting on board with us!

A Big Update

We are down to the last 5 days of the campaign! It must be said, and it can never be said enough: THANK YOU! You have been amazing throughout this process! And as you've given feedback, we've listened again and heard the will of the people. We try to be nothing, if not fan-responsive. 

Stretch Goal Update

We've heard feedback that many of you like the griff pets just fine, but would rather have access to the more relevant models like the assassin kit, neverkin kit, and other gang-related models. So we've taken the remaining griff unlocks and put them near the end, bumping some other models closer to the front. This way, relevant models get unlocked first. Good suggestions everyone! We've also lumped the remaining griffs together as one unlock and added an "Abimiras" model near the end. Abi is the main character in the Undercity audio drama, so if you haven't listened already, give it a go!

"All-IN" TIERS

Secondly, many of you have asked for an all-in option, where you can pledge and get one of everything. We've listened, and as a result, we are offering two "All-In" options. The first is the "One of Everything (no Terrain)" option, which gives you the 2 Player Enhanced Box, the Fancy Rulebook, and one of everything unlocked except terrain (and terrain related options such as signs and graffiti stencils).  The second option is the "One of Everything (Including Terrain)" in which you get one of every single item we end up with, including a full table bundle of terrain and all the related items, such as graffiti stencils and acrylic street signs. 

Note: All of our models and add-ons that are available in the main campaign will be available afterwards in the pledge manager as well, so you can mix and match as you like, although the discount for the all-in is about 50% off the normal prices. 

We hope that helps out those of you who were asking and commenting on those things, and we VERY MUCH appreciate the honesty and helpfulness with which those comments were given. We are very much looking forward to getting Gangs of the Undercity out into the wild, and it is all thanks to you!

Just One Week Left!

Its been a bit quiet as things bounce back and forth headed into the home stretch, but we're ramping up for the big finale! 

Big Push

This is our first kickstarter, but from everything we've heard, ours has been fairly typical as far as big support in the beginning and a leveling off in the middle. We're hoping the accepted wisdom holds true for the big finish as well, so we want to:

A) thank you again so much (it seems impossible to thank you all enough) for supporting us this far, helping us grow, asking great questions, and sharing us around social media. You have sustained us! 

B) ask you to please share the project around social medias as much as you possibly feel comfortable with this last week. We'd love to get to $75k and unlock our map add-on, but we'd also love to get the rest of the minis ready asap and offer as many solid gang boxes as we can.

Yetin Previews

A lot of you have been asking about the yetin kit and what it might look like, so here are a few works in progress on that front. Remember, the yetin kit will come with enough parts for you to make 2 yetin models (including sasquatch/yeti/bugbear) with all kinds of options.  These aren't the finals, but should give you a decent vibe for our Yetin models.

The Raccondor

It is also my sad duty to show you the ugliest model we will be offering. The truly despicable, dishonorable, disgusting... Raccondor. He's just the worst boi ever. But I'm sure some of you tender hearts will love him anyway... but I just can't. Eugh. 

Join us for the big finish

We are planning to do a live stream on the last day of the campaign, which will end at 11:59 PM (EDT), Saturday, August 15. I'm not sure how many hours of streaming is too many, but we'll try to make it a party nonetheless, and we'll keep you informed!

Oh, I was asked to pass on the following info: One of our early backers, who had pledged at the gang war tier (to create your own gang) had to back out due to car trouble. As a result, the sold out Gang War tier has a spot left open for one of you lucky folk who wants to claim it (and get your own themed gang in the CRB) before it gets grabbed up again. Just passing the word on!
