Undercity Cookbook
For better or worse, the dreaded Undercity Cookbook is now going to become a reality, and every backer at every level will now be subjected to... I mean, blessed by, the insane ravings of our Undercity chef!
Beware your taste buds!
Actually, I anticipate this being a very fun, tongue-in-cheek, but very functional and tasty cookbook, so thanks for helping us unlock it!
Both have 2 things we're excited about. The first is our series Subversive Arcana. These 10-15 minute videos tell the history of our world, starting 2,600 years ago, and ending in the current time, 450 by Neo-Babylonian Reckoning.
Second is Undercity, an audio drama by Worlds without end that tells the story of Abimiras, an undercity dweller who tries, with mixed success, to do right by his community. These are both direct tie-ins to Gangs of the Undercity, so if you want more, give them a shot!

I can't believe we have less than two weeks to go until we wrap up! Things are flying so fast. Thank you for all of your support, all the shares around social media, and all the encouragement! We'll keep getting the word out together until the very last day! Things keep moving ahead behind the scenes, so here is what has been getting worked on!

I've heard that things will heat up during the last week of the campaign, so we are trying to pace ourselves and get things done internally so we can hit the ground running once the campaign is over. We're Past the Mid-Point
Interestingly, I had written out an update yesterday, but something went sideways and I didn't notice it wasn't sent until today. So, I apologize for the few days' silence, but we're back!
The final two episodes of the Undercity Audio Drama will be arriving soon as well!
Grayson the Griot/Elf Mage Preview

Almost to the Middle!

We're Almost To the Middle!
We've been slowly climbing and we're about to tip over the mid point. I'd say it was all downhill from there, but i don't believe that will be the case. I'm excited to see where we end up and to start up the machines that will get Gangs of the Undercity out to you!

Valravn Preview
Here is another look at one of our upcoming pet griffs. This is the Valravn. The render will be slightly different in the final (the head is being slightly altered), but I can't resist showing off WIPs. This good boy is unlocked already and there are more to come as we climb higher!
What We'd Love to See/Gang Boxes
Our big push from now until the campaign ends is to reach for the model unlocks we have listed, so we can get solid gang boxes available for you. If we hit all our goals, this is what additional Gang Boxes will look like:
Hetairoi: Elf Male Mage, Female Orc, Satyr, Male Goblin, Female Lawjack
Necro Goblins: Anthoid, Male Goblin x2, Shifty Goblin x2
These are subject to change (and we welcome input from you!) for various reasons.
In addition, we will be offering an all-models option which will include one of every model at a solid discount.

Constantly Evolving!

Another Goal Unlocked and a Kickstarter-Exclusive mini!
Well done, folks! You've unlocked another mini! Three of our pet griffs have been unlocked, so now we have the B'Eagle, the Valravn, and the Croyote unlocked. But instead of just letting that be all that was unlocked, we've been listening to your feedback. Many of you were asking about a Kickstarter exclusive model; something that would only be available through this campaign and nowhere else. So that's what we're going to do. Since the Croyote is unlocked today, we're going to make that pet griff a Kickstarter exclusive! In addition, if we reach $75,000, we'll include a free Croyote model in every 2 player box set!
In addition, in order to make sure the gang boxes will be most economic and efficient for everyone, we'll be re-arranging the stretch goals a bit to make sure important models for each box are unlocked earlier, and some of the griffs, which are less essential, will be moved to a bit later. We do have confidence, however, that we will have them all unlocked by the time the campaign is over!
Fulfillment Concerns
Here and there, we are getting questions and comments about our December date for estimated fulfillment. We agree it is optimistic, but we also think it is doable. First, the December date is only for the two-player starter sets and the terrain. As noted on our main page, the sculpts that aren't unlocked yet will take a bit more time, but not too much, we hope. In addition, the sculpts for the 2 player set are already done and ready for manufacturing, and all that manufacturing is being done in the US, so we are confident we will have them ready as soon as we know numbers. Third, while we still have options both in the US and China, the only bits we are considering for international business are paper goods, but we also US offers which are competitive. So if things look like they are going to be too slow or aren't working as intended with one supplier, we will use the other. We have fulfillment centers in Canada and the UK, so we are confident things will be handled well Internationally.
We have been told that all in all, we need 75 days from start to finish, including shipping, to get all of our parts together and to us. Internally, we are planning to send everything out the last day of November (Nov. 30), which means we are aiming to push all the production buttons on September 15. That gives us 1 month from the time the campaign ends to get all the numbers down, get the layout done, incorporate feedback, and listen to you. That is our goal, but even if we fall a bit short, we still aim to ship out before 2020 ends.
