Got some great news today, folks!
Neo Babylon Nights
Our first book of fiction (and one of the Kickstarter goals you helped us meet) is headed your way now! This anthology fiction features 10 authors, writing about the ups and downs of life in Neo Babylon. Some are about gangs, some are about the Undercity, but others are about love, honor, and punk rock. You'll find a little something in there for everyone, and as promised, all backers at every level get the PDF version!
I've sent out the PDF anthology to everyone, but by the metrics, it seems that for exactly 64 (out of 637 ) of you, the Backerkit fulfillment distribution doesn't like your email or something else has gone wrong on their end. So if you are reading this, now or later, and wonder where your anthology fiction is and why you don't have it, email or PM me and I'll send it directly over to you!
Please, please do us the favor of sharing the book and posting about it on socials. It creates a buzz for us and every little sale helps us have a little more operational budget heading into other projects and speeding up timelines. Thank you all so much!

Lots of you have been asking on social media if the Anthology will be available in paperback/print as well as digital. The answer is absolutely. It should be available on Amazon within 24 hours.
Production Update
No news, folks. I've sent the defective minis back, and I've heard the changes to the minis/molds are underway, but I haven't heard an update for when we'll get the replacement minis. I DID hear that it is possible that ALL our minis will be available by September/October, but PLEASE take that with a grain of salt as I haven't seen any minis yet besides the ones in the 2-player box (and the lawjacks).
That's it for now, folks....Oh, wait, no it isn't... I can share one more thing... This is some EARLY art for the project we are working on in the background while we wait on others for production of Gangs. Many of you have heard us talk about Subversion, the RPG set in the Gangs of the Undercity universe (hereafter referred to as the World of Neo Babylon). We have been working on that in the background, playtesting, and every once in a while, getting something cool started, like this art... Well, I can't call it that yet, it is the first bits of concept art for our Seven Gods Who Decree, that is the seven main Powers of Neo Babylon's religion. Those of you who are fans of Babylonian mythology might notice some changes in the gods, stature, body, gender, etc. That is because Neo Babylon's gods absorbed into themselves the various gods the the Babylonians conquered, so they took on forms, powers, and shapes not only of the deities with similar domains, but also the forms in the imaginations of their worshippers... Anyway, this was me babbling on (over sharing again). Enjoy this bit of concept art we're working on.

Anthology Fiction update
As always, the minute I get some more info, I pass it along!
So, as an update to the last update, the Neo Babylon Nights fiction anthology is now available in 3 formats!
Another small update about conventions while I'm here.
We're getting together our plans for GenCon (September 16-19) and Origins (September 30-October 3) later this year. We are hoping for enough players in our Gangs of the Undercity tournament that we can have a super-fun, interconnected lore event, that shifts the story of our game based on the winner. This year, the story will focus around the mysterious meeting the gangs were called to as a result of the Drakaina letters (which you can read in the full-sized rulebook!). What happened there? Who lived? Who died? Who was responsible? Those questions, which will have far-reaching consequences, will be determined this fall!
So here's my ask. Any of you who are interested in a grand tournament at one of those conventions, PLEASE let us know. We'd love to hear potential interest, what gang you might be playing, etc. Knowing that there are 16 of you who can definately make it will change our plans versus if 100 of you are interested, versus if 4 of you are interested, etc. And I know some folks are just plain not attending cons this year due to covid and lack of vaccine, etc. So, with everything being up in the air, including this year's strict convention restrictions, we desperately want your input about this year!

Rulebooks
Nothing huge in this update, but to say that all of our Full Sized Rulebooks have been sent out! Many have begun to receive them already! Please, please, please if you find yourself loving the book and wanting to support us, please give us a review on the free version of our book here (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/351221/Gangs-of-the-Undercity-Core-Rulebook-Free-Version), but more importantly, please share the link for the full book (now available for hardcover purchase) in all your social medias to get the word out! Production Update
The unacceptable minis have been sent back and replacements for those three models are in production. Otherwise, boxes are ready to ship out, so we await the receipt of the replacements only before sending out boxes! I can't wait to get them into your hands!

Updates on Rulebooks, Starter Sets, and Gryphons

Full Size Rulebook Update
I corrected my mistake I mentioned in the last update, and I am now back to say that the Full Sized Rulebooks are on their way out.
Specifically, everyone who bought a Full Size Rulebook NOT in the USA has had their books shipped. There are a few exceptions.
PLEASE READ:
If you have a PO Box or a Military address, please contact us for an alternative address, as our printer will not send to those for some reason. This applies to US addresses as well. However, if you just want to wait, I will be ordering some stock books later, and I can send them then. But if you want your book ASAP, and have a PO Box or Military address, please reach out.
According to our printer/shipper, shipping can take as long as 45 days (June 1) or if you are in Australia/New Zealand, it could take 60 days (June 15). So thank you for your patience. If the books haven't arrived before then, please let us know and we'll take care of it asap.
Further, we are ASSURED that our orders should not face any duties when delivered by your postal carrier. If you do have to pay anything, for any reason, please contact us asap and we will reimburse you fully.
US backers (there are a lot more of you) will have theirs sent over the next few days.
2 Player Box Set Update
This is not the update I want to send. I have fretted over it. But it can't be helped. As we were boxing the game, we noticed there were 3 minis that were consistently misshapen, or whose molds had clearly been damaged, meaning the minis were not going to be the quality we could be proud of. So, we contacted our manufacturer, who has declared they would make it right, remaking the molds and recasting the figures. Which is good and right! But it also means another damn delay. I can see the bright side. At least we caught it before we sent them out, but, dang folks. I was really excited to ship this month and it feels like just another kick in the nards.
But you have all been so encouraging and I am thankful for your patience as we try to get this as right as we can.
Gyphon/Yetin update
We have also come to a decision about the Gryphons and the Yetin kit. We are going to push that issue down the road a bit. We are going to get the 2 player set out to our backers, then focus on selling those box sets to raise a bit of capital. Then, as conventions approach, we'll see how well we sell there, too. It is possible we can raise enough extra cash to cover any heightened expenses due to Covid shipping, the prices of materials, and the prices of metal for the big figures. If we can't, we have decided we will offer the Gryphon and the Yetin kit again online, at the adjusted price to gain some more capital. I am confident this solution is not only the best one, but will be the most successful. Thank you again for your suggestions and help making those choices!

I'll have another update very soon, but I needed to get this one out right away.
To those who ordered a copy of the full-size rulebook:
Due to lack of clear instructions, we've mistakenly sent out codes to those who should have received the Full Sized Rulebook. We WANTED to ship them out directly after printing, but instead, a code was sent out allowing you to BUY the rulebook at a discount and PAY shipping yourself. THIS IS NOT INTENDED. Please DO NOT purchase the rulebook through that link, unless you want a second rulebook.
We apologies for the mix-up and while I can't see it having too large an effect, I wanted to get a head of it, before anyone just clicks the links and goes through the motions, assuming we had the right of it.
